Green Technology association

The association GREEN TECHNOLOGY is a non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical and independent, public benefit association, established under O.G. no. 26/2000, on associations and foundations, republished, with subsequent amendments and completions.

The association’s headquarters are located in 3rd District, 13-15 Matei Basarab Street, 4th Floor, 030674, Bucharest, ROMANIA.

The duration of the GREEN TECHNOLOGY Association is indefinite.

The Association is a Romanian legal entity under private law and has the name “GREEN TECHNOLOGY / GREEN TECHNOLOGY Association”, according to the proof of availability of the name with number 177330 from 07.10.2019, issued by the Ministry of Justice, having the Fiscal Identification Code no. 42055400.

What we do ?

The purpose of the Association is to develop a green and ecological technological environment, as well as to create a favorable framework for the implementation of green technologies at the national level.

The main objective of the Association is to be actively involved as a factor generating added value, at the national level, by promoting activities aimed at stimulating green technology in the context of an economically prosperous, active, competent, cohesive, and supportive society.

To achieve its objectives, the Association aims to carry out the following activities:

Organizing training courses, seminars, conferences, public debates, camps, summer schools, and public awareness activities, according to the law
Organizing public events and other activities to raise public awareness, according to the law
Production, editing, and dissemination of books, periodicals, leaflets, posters, brochures, computer programs, and other information materials
Providing advice and counseling, as well as legal assistance to the members of the Association, in accordance with its purpose
Informing the public and carrying out other public awareness activities on supporting people with disabilities, in accordance with their special status
Monitoring and supporting the activity of public authorities through specific procedures
Development of own programs and in partnership with public authorities in the country and abroad
Declaring and formulating the necessary actions, requests, petitions, and defenses before the competent courts
Carrying out sponsorship activities
Development of direct economic activities for self-financing, in accordance with the purpose of the Association
Other activities that contribute to the achievement of the purpose of the Association and that do not contravene the law
Carrying out information actions in various locations, media, and online, regarding the activities, products, and services offered by its members
Increasing research and development capacity, stimulating cooperation with research and development institutions
Development of the entrepreneurial environment in the area of green technologies
Activation as a management unit of the Cluster with the same name (GREEN TECHNOLOGY CLUSTER)
